In the sunset studio you'll have everything you need to cook, work from home, or enjoy some beach time. Enjoy all that Kailua has to offer with your own personal space. Studio is attached to our home with its own separate entrance. Please note that the studio bathroom is outdoors. This is not for everyone so please see the photos and make sure you are OK before booking.
House rules:
No smoking on the property. If you feel the need to smoke please walk to the beach.
Please wash sand and mud off before entering the house. A hose is located in the side yard behind the outdoor bathroom. Do not wash sand down any of the house drains.
You must shower, with soap, before entering the hot tub. Please wipe feet before entering the hot tub. If the hot tub is left in poor/dirty condition, a cleaning fee will be charged from the deposit. Hot tub hours 8 am-8pm
Do not dispose of any solids down the drain pipes. Please dispose of tampons in the bathroom trash can and used cooking oil should be discarded safely in the trash. This is extremely important.
One person only, no overnight guests
Quiet Hours 9 pm - 6 am. If you come in late, please be quiet and respectful. Please respect the neighbors as this is a family, working class neighborhood and the houses are built very close to one another- noise transmits very easily.
Do not answer the door or allow anyone you don't know onto the property.
All doors and gates on the property are fitted with door stops/latches. Please either leave all doors open all the way and connected to the stop or completely closed. Otherwise they will slam in the wind. You are responsible for damage caused to the home.
Please drive slowly through the alley. There are children and pets present. Do not drink and drive. Do not drink in excess on the property.
By making a reservation you hereby assume all risks of injury and property damage arising out of your presence on the property. You agree to release and hold harmless the property owners from any and all liability, loss, damage, expense, suits or claims arising out of your reservation. 30 days notice is required for termination of lease.
