The recently and beautifully renovated Hatteras Heritage House is a 2-story 4,000 sq ft home, spacious enough for you to gather as a group or find a private corner for yourself. It is located in a family neighborhood, so it is not a party house; rather it is for families and groups seeking a pleasant, relaxing, yet quieter retreat.
The open floor plan allows for easy conversations between the living room, dining room & kitchen. The large, well-equipped kitchen offers 2 sink areas, double oven, new 5-burner gas range, and a coffee bar around the corner. The chef(s) can chat with company who are sitting at the counter. Large deck w/ grill & patio table for 10. The game room has a regulation-size pool table and card table for fun-night every night! A wet bar in the living room keeps the fixings for those festive summer drinks all in one place. The large yard is perfect for corn-hole toss and horse-shoe games, equipment provided during your stay.
Our standard calendar runs from 4 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. the following Saturday. Longer stays can be accommodated, so just let us know what your preferences are.
Your pets are welcome as long as they meet the conditions noted below. Because HHH is in a neighborhood with small children, these requirements must be strictly adhered to.
• Are over 2 years old – no puppies allowed
• Are house trained and non-destructive
• Do not have a strong body odor
• Are not allowed to get on the furniture and beds
• Are not sick with uncontrolled bodily functions
• Have NOT been trained to attack
• Have NOT shown aggressive behavior in the past.
You are required to remove all scat from the yard by the time you check out.
We ask that you brush your pet(s) each day to help with cleaning services, to protect the furniture, and to assure the next guests can enjoy HHH.
HHH was built by a commercial fisherman in 1992. Commercial fishermen live in the area. You will experience the true Hatteras lifestyle.
