A two-minute walk from the front porch leads you to 3,900 feet of uncrowded, spectacular white sand beach and clear turquoise water.
Located in the charming and friendly Carillon Beach community, the cottage is on the far west end of Panama City Beach, away from the high rises and crowds.
Carillon Beach, a gated community, lies entirely beachside of Highway 98 so there are no busy roads running through it, separating you from the surf and sand.
Summerlight (3 BR, 2 1/2 BA) is among the smaller "full-size" Carillon Beach homes, however it is substantially larger, nearly 50% larger, that nearby Carillon "guest cottages" (1320 vs. 900 sq. ft.).
Many of our returning families remark that in addition to the heated and cooled charming interior spaces, our large screened, street-facing front porch, equipped with ceiling fans, a dining table and chairs, and comfortable leisure seating; is their favorite "room" in the house!
The community is two miles from Scenic Highway 30A to the west, seven miles from Pier Park shopping and entertainment district to the east, and 18 miles from Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP).
Two grocery stores, a pharmacy, a liquor store and small restaurants are within a mile for your convenience.
June and July rentals are by the week only and from Saturday to Saturday. Other months have a five-day minimum, with either a check-in or check-out on a Saturday.

The Community is adjacent to Lake Powell, the largest dune lake in North America. Philips Inlet connects the lake to the ocean providing great fishing and bird watching in a serene setting. Camp Helen, a Florida State Park, graces the shores of the lake and is directly west just a short drive or a scenic beach walk away.
An Arctic Tern sanctuary in the park provides interest for nature lovers.
