Summary: The location was great as I am a horse trainer and was in town for the youth nationals which was only 2 miles away. We chose this house because it was pet friendly. The beds are super comfortable and clean. I am not one to normally leave negative comments. However there are a few things worth mentioning. There is water that pours out near the front door every afternoon and evening. When we got there there was a half an inch of green sludge in front of the door. There was also some trash stuck in the sledge. The doormat was completely slimy. I ended up throwing the doormat to the side and going to buy a raised rubber one. Also took a broom and scrubbed the mud and sledge off of the porch. Every day when we came home we dumped the bucket of water so it would dry and stay cleaner. There was also a day when I was told that the owner was going to come change an air filter. In fact I was in the shower getting ready for dinner when two young men came and entered the key code to the house and let them self in. Apparently they are from either an air conditioning company or the management company it was not clear. Either way it scared the crap out of me and it was quite upsetting. I did share my feelings with the owner and there was no response from him. I am glad I was at the house during that time since I had computer, money, and other personal items just laying around the house. Not to mention that I was naked with a towel when they walked in uninvited. There is a big backyard, however there is no door from the house to access the backyard. You have to walk out of the house and around the back of the house to take your dog in the backyard. That is fine, just a little inconvenient. The washer and dryer are in an extremely dirty and scary basement, which again isn’t the end of the world. However, the extremely steep spiral staircase leading to the basement is very dangerous and scary indeed. I am surprised a staircase like that is even legal! The first night I was there I did have to take the vacuum and vacuum up a bunch of dead spiders and bugs around the baseboards in the house. The floor in the kitchen felt extremely grimy and I was uncomfortable being barefoot so I wore socks anytime I went in there.At the end of the day, I am not prissy was able to deal with it and appreciate the comfort of the bed and the location. We were literally only in the house between six and eight hours per evening to sleep and the rest of the time at the horse show.
