Even though we are just 3 short blocks from all the FUN of the restaurants and classic bars on the University Strip and 3 blocks from Downtown Tuscaloosa shopping and dining, our street remains a QUIET family-oriented HAVEN away from the weekend crowds.
- On game day take a short 6 block walk to Saban Field at Bryant -Denney Stadium and the University of Alabama Quad for tailgating and the excitement of the big game. Then return to relax in the comfort and sanctuary of the home when you desire some quieter time with family and friends.
- We are located 1 block from University Blvd; 6 short blocks to Bryant Denny Stadium; 3 blocks to downtown restaurants, The University Strip, Publix grocery, CVS; 10 minute walk to the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk and Saturday morning Farmer’s Market.
-We require a 2-night minimum which must include both Friday and Saturday nights but we encourage you to stay longer at reduced rates and enjoy more of the Tuscaloosa area. Our home is available the entire week of Thanksgiving should you want to celebrate the holiday in true Southern comfort. Our home features 3 large bedrooms (all on 2nd floor, all Queen beds) each beautifully decorated and including luxury linens, make-up mirror, closet space, and luggage rack. To encourage socializing we do not have TV’s in the bedrooms.
- Each bedroom has a private fully- renovated en-suite bathroom complete with towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and hairdryer.
- There are 2 sofas on the main floor and 2 inflatable single beds available for a total of 10 people…. But that’s a pretty tight fit.
- For those who want to entertain or cook we have an amazing gourmet kitchen with 6- burner commercial-style range, large Subzero refrigerator and all the small appliances, cookware and dish ware you could ever need. Our 10 foot custom kitchen island is the perfect place to set out your game-day buffet and also has bar seating for 5.
- The kitchen island open to a comfortable casual den with seating for 8 and includes large Smart TV with Uverse cable, Firestick, board games, magazines, and view to yard, waterfall and fish pond.
- Enjoy a beautiful fall day or evening on our secluded brick courtyard patio surrounded by lush plantings. The patio has a large dining table for 10, comfortable lounge seating, fire pit, grill, gas heater, beer cooler and beverage tub. We even provide firewood. For extra comfort you can snuggle under blankets on the screened porch and watch the late games on TV.
Additional living areas include a large living room decorated with a mix of modern classic and antique furniture and fun artwork. It has seating for at least 8 and a large smart TV with Uverse cable. There is a traditional dining room with seating for 8.
